CORONAVIRUS NOTICE

Given the uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic, camps may be canceled and the pool schedule is in doubt. We are still accepting applications in the hope that some summer options will remain available.  Please provide an accurate email and/or cell phone information so we can reach you if Summer Together 2020 is delayed or canceled.

Please read the information below before you apply. Application Link is at the bottom of the page.

Welcome Parents and Guardians! You can apply for Summer Together 2020 on this page.

Here is some basic information that you should review before you sign up:

What does Summer Together 2020 Scholarship cover?

Summer Together is a wholly volunteer-run program that funds summer camp scholarships and public-pool memberships for Port Washington families in need of economic assistance. Summer Together is organized by Long Island Together (LIT), a group of local community activists working to improve access to educational and enrichment opportunities for children, among other social justice causes.

  • Our goal -- which is dependent on our fundraising -- is for each Summer Together scholarship ideally to cover:

    • One Manorhaven Pool membership for the entire family for the whole summer, AND

    • One specialty day camp option per child in the family (pre-school to Grade 8)

We accept applications and then notify families of placement decisions based on funds available and camp requirements.

Who is eligible for a Summer Together 2020 Scholarship?

Please only fill out an application if you have been recommended to us as a family in need of a scholarship by one of our Summer Together Advisors.

    • Littig House - Lynette Batts

    • Our Lady of Fatima - Sister Kathy
